Turnitin Academy Live is a series of highly interactive online professional development sessions geared toward taking instructors beyond just plagiarism prevention and toward a powerful pedagogy for 'writing to learn.' Each one-hour session explores practical methods and activities of using Turnitin in the instructional process to:
- Encourage original writing and the responsible use of source material
- Deliver richer and more meaningful feedback
- Facilitate the "peer factor” in peer review activities
There's no cost to participate in these valuable professional development webinars. Pre-registered participants will receive certificates of completion.
New!!! Turnitin Academy Live is now eligible for earning Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in partnership with St. Mary's College for a nominal fee ($25 for 0.5 CEUs/5 hours). Each session is approximately one hour, so after participating or watching five sessions you can submit your CEU request to St. Mary's College. Further instructions and forms are available during webinars. The Continuing Education Unit is a U.S. recognized unit designed to provide a record of an individual’s continuing education and/or professional growth accomplishments.
